Children’s and Youth Orchestra
With the Badalona Sur Consortium
2010 -2013

The Barris en Solfa Children and Youth Orchestra in Badalona Sur was formed in 2010 and rehearsed and performed together until 2013. The Orchestra took part in more than 10 concerts and shows at the Auditorio de Barcelona, Teatro Principal de Badalona, Teatro Blas Infante, Consorcio Badalona Sur, Ateneo San Roque and others. The Orchestra played alongside the Orquesta de Barcelona (OBC), Orquesta Iberoamericana de Cataluña as well as musicians, ensembles and luthiers such as Tahadi, “Laberintos del Sonido” and others.

L’Auditori Barcelona with the OBC: Te Toca a ti

October-February 2012

“Te Toca a ti” is a participatory concert of the Orquesta de Barcelona y Nacional de Cataluña (OBC). The students’ involvement in the concert has been created from elements taken from “Promenade” (Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgski). These elements, of a simple dialogue and orchestral colour, are an excellent starting point for the multicultural creations of the children’s groups.
